Tegan Donnelley, MD Mphil is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist based in New York City. Dr. Donnelley offers comprehensive evaluations, consultations, and ongoing treatment of a wide array of psychiatric conditions in both adults and adolescents. Her practice philosophy incorporates psychotherapy, medication management, and optimization of lifestyle factors including sleep, nutrition, and exercise. Dr. Donnelley sees patients virtually and in-person in Manhattan.

Dr. Donnelley has particular expertise in reproductive psychiatry, helping women navigate perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), infertility, miscarriage, infant loss, and birth trauma, as well as other conditions that affect women across the lifespan, including premenstrual and perimenopausal mood disorders, among others.

Dr. Donnelley graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University with a Bachelor’s degree in History. She went on to receive a Master of Philosophy from University of Cambridge in the History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine. Before attending medical school, Dr. Donnelley worked in the healthcare practice at McKinsey and Company, a leading global consultancy firm. She received her medical degree from Columbia University and completed her adult psychiatry residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Donnelley received additional reproductive psychiatry training at the Payne Whitney Women's Program. She continues to teach and supervise residents at Weill Cornell.
